Cracked, rusted, or storm-damaged panels get swapped section by section when the rest of the door is still structurally sound.
Correct sourcing avoids a mismatched panel that stands out or seals poorly.
A shallow dent may be manageable, while a crease affecting the panel's rigidity typically calls for replacement.
Mismatched insulation cores can create uneven temperature and moisture behavior across the door face.
We don't consider the job finished until the new panel's seams match the adjoining sections cleanly.
Each service below is handled by a technician trained specifically for this kind of repair, not a generalist guessing at it.
For panels with cosmetic dents that don't compromise structural rigidity, we can sometimes repair rather than replace.
Call +1-831-293-1591 →Replacing a full section restores both appearance and structural integrity without replacing the whole door.
Storm damage often affects multiple panels at once, which we evaluate together for the most efficient repair.
Rusted-through steel panels near the bottom of the door are replaced before corrosion spreads to adjacent sections.
An insulated panel upgrade on a damaged section is a chance to improve performance, not just appearance.
A photo helps, but a description over the phone is enough to get sourcing started.
Technicians confirm the exact panel match on-site before ordering if it wasn't already identified.
You'll know the total cost, including sourcing, before committing to the repair.
New panel installed, seams aligned, hinges tested, and backed by written warranty before we leave.
“Rust was starting on the bottom panel. Replaced it before it spread any further.”
“Storm damaged three panels and they handled the whole assessment and replacement in one visit.”
“Seam alignment after the swap is seamless, no gap or misfit at all.”
In most cases yes, especially for major manufacturers whose panel sections we can source or match quickly.
Matching involves the panel's dimensions, texture, color, and core type for a consistent look and performance.
A shallow dent may not need replacement, while a deep crease usually does. We'll give you an honest read.
We'll search for compatible aftermarket panels or, if none exist, discuss a full door replacement as the alternative.
Pricing varies with whether the panel is insulated and how readily it can be sourced.
